Bojan Hodak Confirms Mailson Lima's Departure from Persib in the Second Round of BRI Liga 1 2024/2025

Persib Bandung's head coach, Bojan Hodak, has confirmed that Mailson Lima will no longer be part of the team in the second round of the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025.

The Brazilian defender has been a key player for Persib since joining the club in 2022. However, Hodak believes that it is time for a change in the team's defense.

Mailson is a good player, but we need to make some changes in our defense, Hodak said. We have some young players who are ready to step up, and we believe that they can do a better job than Mailson.

Lima has made 25 appearances for Persib in all competitions, scoring one goal. He was part of the team that won the Piala Menpora in 2021.

Persib are currently in fifth place in the BRI Liga 1 standings, with 32 points from 17 matches. They will face PSM Makassar in their next match on February 23.
